East-vs-West Track Invitational

What- East versus West track meet

Sat.- Madeira High School

Who- 7^th-8^th Grade Boys and Girls- Friday

K-6^th Grade Boys and Girls- Saturday

When- Friday April 29^th @ Madeira High School 5 P.M. (venues for all field events open)

Girls HJ starts at 5:00, boys HJ at conclusion of girls or 5:45, whichever is later

4x800 relay begins at 6:20 PM followed by remaining running events

Events will alternate between boys & girls throughout the meet for 7^th & 8^th graders only. Saturday meets the traditional format of girls’ running/boys field events to begin, and then flip.

K-1-2 9:00 A.M.

3-4 11:30 A.M. (approx)

5-6 2:30 P.M. (approx)

Pre-registration requested for 5-6 and 7-8^th grade teams to divide city into East and West rosters.

Order of events- K-2^nd grade begins with 50 and moves to progressively longer races. We are also offering a 4x50 “shuttle race” for k-2 and a 4x75 shuttle relay for the 3-4^th grade meet. Otherwise we will follow CYO guidelines and agreed rules.

For 5^th –8^th grades, medals to top three event finishers, ribbons to places 4-6. There is no team scoring; team scores for either East or West depending upon their geography. Ribbons provided to all participants in grades k-2 and 3-4.

To pre-register- please email or call with an estimate on the number of athletes so we can divide the city into East and a West teams by April 20, 2005
