It's a brand new year!
St. Gertrude coaches Mike Meyer and Chuck Schlie are training a new crop of Bulldogs to take on all comers. The program has swelled to 54 players from last years 42. The 5th & 6th team grew by four to 27, and the 7th & 8th has grown from 19 last year to 27 ! ! While it will be difficult to replace last years departing eighth graders David Gedeon, Lee Hayes, Steven Holzderber, Jay McGrath, Josh Meyer, Jeff Mock, Brent Stires and Andy Ward, the Bulldog's will add most of last years sixth graders as well as a six new eighth graders: Andy Cassady, Pat Costello, Joe Huhn, Stephen Kaes, Drew Konieczka and Pat Watkins .
